Loren is a freelance food stylist, recipe developer, creative consultant, and chef based in Birmingham, Alabama.
Her successful 15 year career has been influenced by some of Birmingham's top chefs, editors, authors, and photographers. Impassioned through her time working for James Beard award winning chef Frank Stitt, and James Beard nominated pastry chef Dolester Miles, Loren's love affair for delicious and beautiful food blossomed. With 10 years working in media and publishing, Loren's work regularly appears in over a dozen magazine brands, special interest publications, books, commercial advertisements, and specially developed menus for up and coming restaurants. Her endeavors can not only be seen in print, but also on billboards, web-based advertisements, and television commercials.
Whether working with high-profile clients and celebrities, or producing a menu for a small start-up restaurant, Loren's attention to detail and resourceful creativity equips her to handle projects from concept to completion.With her light hearted and comfortable approach, combined with a strong client-first work ethic, Loren's goal is to work efficiently and creatively using available resources, as well as adding her elegant signature touch to each and every project.
When not developing recipes or food styling for clients, Loren spends her time developing recipes for her baking business.
